Ricky Kluge is a Chicago-based photographer and director specializing in lifestyle and brand imagery across commercial stills and motion. He’s collaborated with brands like Google, Fanatics, Kraft Heinz, and Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day to create campaign-driven visuals for broadcast, print, and digital platforms.
His work blends clean visuals with a natural, lived-in energy — the kind that resonates with real people. Whether photographing athletes, lifestyle moments, or product-driven campaigns, Ricky brings an adaptable, story-first mindset to every production.
Originally from Wisconsin, Ricky began photographing local bands and skateparks as a teenager — a passion that evolved into a 15+ year career shooting for agencies, brands, and editorial clients nationwide. Based in Chicago and available for assignments throughout the Midwest and across the U.S., he works with production teams or solo, depending on the scale and creative need.

2. Where do you work? Do you only shoot in Chicago?
While I’m based in Chicago, I regularly photograph commercial and lifestyle brand campaigns throughout the Midwest—including Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana—and am available for assignments nationwide. My work has taken me across the U.S. to collaborate with agencies and brands on creating imagery that connects with real audiences.
3. What types of photography do you specialize in?
I focus on commercial photography including lifestyle, portrait, fitness, product, and brand storytelling campaigns. My clients range from ad agencies to established brands and small businesses looking to elevate their visual identity.
4. How much does a commercial photoshoot cost?
Pricing varies depending on scope, team size, location, and licensing needs. Most projects fall within a custom estimate tailored to your goals. Reach out with your project details, and I’ll provide a clear line-item estimate.
5. How far in advance should I book?
For larger productions, it’s best to book 4–6 weeks in advance to allow for pre-production planning. Smaller shoots can often be scheduled within 1–2 weeks, depending on availability.

Yes. Every final image delivered includes professional editing and retouching. I also offer advanced post-production services when needed for advertising or high-end campaigns.
